Then and now
Once, Jaguars pulled up outside the door. The waiters wore dinner jackets, and a dinner in Skoven was something you dressed up for. People came here to dine well, to be looked after and to enjoy the good life. The place had a grandeur all its own.
A grandeur you can still feel. For the house still stands, with the woods, the river and Skovsøen as its neighbours. And with nature right outside the windows, where the seasons come and go – a reminder that time matters. That history matters.
This is the story we have been given the chance to continue. And we have taken great pains to do the house justice.

In the kitchen, too, we have brought out the very best. The classic French dishes we love ourselves, made with good ingredients, a love of the craft and respect for flavour.
Now we look forward to the city making Skoven its own. For a perfectly ordinary Tuesday, dinner with good friends and life’s great celebrations. To bring new life and new traditions to a house that has been part of Odense’s history for generations.
